Works under immediate supervision to perform standard thin-film coatings on optical substrates.
Monitors deposition process according to process instructions.
Performs routine and periodic maintenance on coating chambers.
Checks coating results with desired specifications.
Maintains records as required.
Loads and unloads fixtures.
Sets up coating fixtures.
Operates sandblast machine when necessary.
Understand coating specs and its application.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobs.
Able to read and understand drawings, chart recorder and spectrophotometer scan.
Operate electron beam gun and thermal evaporation system.
Demonstrate and practice a detail-oriented manner to work.
Able to perform different assignments.
Communicate efficiently, relating instruction and information clearly and precisely asking for feedback when it is appropriate.
Follow oral and written instructions.
Organize and prioritize.
Work well with others and with production restrictions.
Manage time efficiently.
